LiveJudge is car show judging software, and it runs motorcycle, truck and RC scale events on the same engine. Judges score from their phones on the rubric you wrote, the crowd votes Best in Show from theirs, and every entry carries a printed tag.

Paint and body, interior, engine bay, undercarriage, presentation, weighted the way your club actually weights them. One element splits into as many criteria as it needs, so panel gaps and chrome are scored separately rather than folded into one number somebody argues about later.
Judges score on a color-graded slider with guidance that rewrites itself as the slider moves, so a 7 means the same thing at the far end of the field as it does at the front. Heads-Up Mode swaps the sliders for tap buttons when a judge would rather keep their eyes on the car.
No app, no passwords, and no venue WiFi, which matters when the show is in a field behind a fairground.

The member who has never given a 10 in fifteen years, and the one who gives everybody a 9. On a paper sheet that difference decides your class winner more often than the cars do. Try it on the left: one entry, four judges, and the fourth marks everyone hard. Switch the method and watch the result move.
Pick the method your club uses from Raw average, High/low drop, Z-score, and Olympic-Z. Raw marks are preserved underneath, ties are detected automatically, and every result carries an audit trail and a CSV export, which is the difference between settling a protest in two minutes and relitigating it all winter.

Build the judge roster once and assign it across every class. Decide what finished means, every assigned judge or any two of six, and the console shows which entries are still short. Set advancement once and it applies itself, and nudge a judge by text without leaving the page.

Fan voting is the part people remember. Open a ballot and the field votes from their own phones, browsing every entry with photos and specs, with a live countdown so nobody misses the close.
Set how many votes each person gets, geo-fence to a quarter mile so only people actually at the show can vote, and put a sponsor on the ballot if one is paying for it. Blend the crowd's result with the judges' at whatever weighting you choose and Best in Show reflects both.

What show organizers ask us first.
Do judges have to download anything?
No. Runs in any phone browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update. A judge scans the tag on the entry, signs in with an SMS code, and scores. Nothing to install and nothing to hand out.
We run twelve classes and a Best in Show. Does that fit?
Yes. Classes are yours to define, each with its own rubric, its own judges and its own standings, inside one event. Best in Show can be a fan ballot, a judged class, or a composite of both at a weighting you set.
Our field has no signal and no WiFi.
No dedicated network required. Judges, contestants and fans use their own devices and connections. Judges, entrants and spectators all use their own devices and their own connections. No routers, no cables, no cell booster.
How do entries get into the system?
Entrants self-register and add their own photos and specs, or you import and add them from the console. Invite-only works too. An entry added once can be reused at every show you host, so a regular does not re-type their car every year.
Can people stuff the fan ballot?
Set a vote limit per person, and geo-fence voting to a radius as tight as a quarter mile from the field so a link shared online is worth nothing to someone at home.
Does it handle RC and scale models?
Yes, and it was built around that kind of event. Scale RC is judged the same way a car is: an entry, a class, a weighted rubric, and a panel. Static and flight rounds can both live in one event.
What happens when someone protests a result?
You open the entry and show them. Every judge's marks, per round, per element, with the weight beside each, plus the normalization method that was applied. Ties are flagged automatically and the whole event exports to CSV.
What does it cost?
Pay-as-you-go. No subscriptions, no per-seat licence, and no credit card to start. After the free period it is $2.99 per entrant you import, or 2.9% plus a flat fee if they register and pay through LiveJudge.
